Water-Based, Highly Concentrated Mould Release Agent

PACKAGING

PC-Releaseoil® WB 20 Litter piles and 200 Litter drum.

PC-Releaseoil® WB is an economical and concentrated mould release agent available in a water-soluble emulsion form. To ensure optimal application, it should be diluted with water at a ratio of 1:6 up to 1:10. PC-Releaseoil® WB helps in facilitating the smooth and effortless demoulding of formwork while providing a uniform surface finish. To prevent adhesion of the release film to the concrete surfaces, it is crucial to apply PC-Releaseoil® WB as a thin layer.

ADVANTAGES

  • Facilitating easy and efficient demoulding of formwork.
  • Providing smooth and spot-free demoulded surfaces.
  • Ensuring efficient adhesion of forthcoming plasters, mortars, and paints.
  • Protecting formwork to enhance its overall service life.

USES

  • Ideal for steel and other non-absorbent materials.
  • Effective for use in tropical regions.
  • Particularly suitable for achieving fair-faced concrete finishes.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Prior to application, PC-Releaseoil® WB should be diluted with water in a ratio of 1:6 up to 1:10. For plywood, the dilution ratio
should not exceed 1:6. The dilution process entails slowly pouring PC-Releaseoil® WB into the measured amount of water while simultaneously stirring the resulting solution. Continue stirring until even dispersion is achieved, and the solution is homogeneous. If not required for immediate use, the emulsion can stand over extended periods. However, it should be thoroughly stirred again before use. The surfaces to be coated should be free from remnants of concrete and cement splashes. Suitable spraying devices, brushes, or cotton rags can be used for application. After application, allow PC-Releaseoil® WB to absorb for approximately 20-30 minutes before placing the concrete. The coated surfaces should be protected from the rain until the concreting begins. While the release properties of the PCReleaseoil® WB coated shuttering are not significantly impaired by keeping them dry, it’s advisable to shield the coated surfaces from intense sun, heat, and dust. When applying PC-Releaseoil® WB to non-absorbent formwork like plastic and steel, allow it to dry completely before concreting. The drying time may vary based on ambient and surface temperature.

HEALTH AND SAFETY
