PACKAGING

PC-Releaseoil® LP 20 Litter piles and 200 Litter drum.

PC-Releaseoil® LP is a non-staining mold release agent, particularly well-suited for steel and non-absorbent shuttering. It is a specialized blend of high-quality mold-release oil and a carefully selected release agent. The presence of this release agent imparts excellent release properties to the shuttering, resulting in smooth and even surfaces when de-molded. PC-Releaseoil® LP is provided in a ready-to-use consistency and should not be diluted with water or other solvents. The application of a thin film of PC-Releaseoil® LP prevents the adhesion of cement slurry to the formwork surfaces and the release film to the demolded surfaces. This product is ideal for use in tropical areas, and continued use can help to extend the service life of shuttering surfaces by reducing wear and tear.

ADVANTAGES

  • Excellent ‘sticking’ ability on vertical mould surfaces.
  • Self-levelling after spray application.
  • Non-combustible vapor.
  • Reduced ‘dusty’ residues on the formwork.
  • Safe for the operatives to handle Easy and precise separation of the formwork from the hardened concrete.
  • High quality surface finish Protection of formwork from steel corrosion and early aging.

USES

  • Ideal for steel and other non-absorbent materials.
  • Effective for use in tropical regions.
  • Particularly suitable for achieving fair-faced concrete
    finishes

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Before applying the coating, ensure that the shuttering surfaces are clean and free from any remnants of concrete or cement splashes. It is essential to use PC-Releaseoil® LP in its original consistency without diluting it with water or other solvents. You may apply the coating using appropriate spraying devices, brushes, or cotton rags. It is crucial to exercise caution to ensure that the applied film is thin and no visible remains or concentrated spots are present. To achieve such a condition, it is recommended to use a rubber sponge to draw the coated surfaces after application. The shuttering should be clean before coating, and the coated surface can be used immediately. The mold release properties of the PC-Releaseoil® LP coated shuttering are not significantly impaired if kept dry. However, it is advisable to protect the coated surfaces from intense sun rays, heat, and dust.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

PC-Releaseoil® LP does not fall under the hazardous category according to the current regulations (refer to notes 1 and 2 below). However, it is critical to avoid swallowing or direct contact with skin and eyes, whether in bulk or spray form. Wearing protective gloves and goggles is highly recommended. In the event of skin contact, wash with water immediately. In case of eye contact, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical attention. If ingested, do not induce vomiting and seek medical attention immediately. For additional information, please consult the Material Safety Data Sheet available for this product.
