PC Seal Coat 500 is combinetion of Selected agents of silica ,cement and polymer addtivies. This coating is intended for application wet area such as water reservoires, swimming pools, water tanks,acidic drainage and similar areas. Suitable for use on vertical and horizental concrete and masonry surfaces. this product is engineered with excellent crack-bridging capabilities, even in prolonged water exposure scenarios. Additionally, it serves to protect reinforcements and rebar from corrosion and can protect from corrosion of water chemistry .

Applications

Surface should be clean and contamination free. Mix component A & B as per ration of full pack using a suitable electric mixture ,in a slow-speed drill (400 – 600 rpm). Blend 30 kilograms of powder into a approximately 20 litres of liquid. The quantity of liquid will vary slightly depending upon the application method and ambient conditions. Mix for 3-5 minutes and until a lump-free consistency is achieved. Allow a slake time of 5 minutes and remix for maximum 2 minutes adding powder or liquid when necessary to obtain the correct consistency. Do not exceed the maximum liquid demand. Apply by Brush or Spray Machines. apply as two coat. consumptions : Base coat ~1.2 kg/m2 & Top coat 1.2 kg/m2 . ( MS of PC Seal Coat 500 )

USES

For waterproofing of vertical and horizontal surface of water-retaining structures.
To protect concrete from corrosion and dampness by water, carbonation and deicing salts and alkali.
Suitable for positive and negative waterproofing of internal and external surface wall and floor.
Suitable for use in wet area waterproofing of portable water tanks , water reservoirs and water piping & tunnels .

SURFACE PREPARATION

The surface must undergo a thorough cleaning process and be structurally sound. Remove any loose materials and conduct essential repairs. Smooth any sharp edges and protrusions to ensure uniform thickness. To eliminate oil, grease, and wax residues, consider using industrial-grade detergents or degreasing agents. Prior to any treatment, it is imperative to eliminate impurities such as cement laitance, mold release agents, and curing membranes. This can be achieved through methods like shot-blasting, grinding, or scarifying, followed by meticulous vacuuming. Before applying any treatment, saturate the surface with water and remove any excess standing water.
