PC-Sealcoat® Shield is a premium solvent-based water repellent formulated with silane/siloxane technology. It penetrates deeply into concrete and masonry to create a breathable, invisible barrier that reduces water absorption without blocking moisture vapor escape. Ideal as a primer or standalone treatment, it protects against efflorescence, alkali attack, and reinforcement corrosion— enhancing durability and topcoat adhesion while preserving the natural finish of the surface.

USES

Suitable for exterior RCC walls, bare concrete, plaster, brickwork, and other absorbent masonry surfaces as a water-repellent primer or protective treatment.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, oil, loose particles, or any other contaminants. Remove powdery residues by brushing or scraping. The moisture content of the substrate should be below 16% and the surface pH should be under 9 before application. Avoid applying on damp or newly plastered surfaces that haven’t fully cured.

APPLICATION

Apply PC-Sealcoat® Shield evenly using a brush, roller, or lowpressure spray. For optimal performance, apply two coats wet-on-wet without dilution unless otherwise recommended. Allow the first coat to penetrate before applying the second. Ensure good ventilation during drying. Clean tools immediately after use with appropriate thinner.
